Weekend Up North...some firsts...lots of pictures..lots of FUN~

We had a whirl wind weekend of fun at both the Freeland's and the Nelson's cabins.

3 days of solid fun!! Zach & Bailey had a great time together...they were up bright & early and ready to fish! Zach's first time fishing! Bailey caught 3...all with no bait! That is a skill!

We took Zach tubing for the first time...he was a pro! Bailey loved having someone to go her speed!

Playing with the 4th of July decorations...the 4th of July is a big tradition up north with the Freeland's.

Then it was time to head to the Nelson's cabin...

27 Months...

Molly is 7 months today which means Zach was 27 months yesterday! Not sure how long you are "supposed" to refer to kids in months...but at this point it is so easy...as they are exactly 20 months and one day apart. Now that Molly's personality is showing more and she is more able to interact...they are quite into each other. Zach loves to talk to her and make her giggle! It is so cute to look in the rearview mirror in the car and see them laughing at each other! I hope they grow-up to be the best of buddies!

It was an overcast day, so we spent the morning at the park instead of the pool. Zach's friend Mason was able to meet us there too!

BBQ Buds

We have Friday Night BBQs with Zach's two buddies every week...this week, we did it on Saturday to include Ellen & Svai. Zach, Charlie & Hailey were born within 3 weeks of each other. They have so much fun together!!

26 months today!

Zach is already 26 months...which means tomorrow Molly will be 6 months!
So what is Zach up to these days, you ask...
- He loves to sing! ABCs, Baa baa black sheep, Take me out the ball game...he has gotten really good. I will make some new videos.
- His new song that he picked up a school is...we will, we will, ROCK YOU (sung as loud as possible).
- He still loves balls, books and playing with friends (Mom & Dad included)...and really loves to talk to and "play" with Molly.
-Still a wonderful eater! He can seriously eat as much as me and he isn't picky. Loves his veggies and sandwiches the most!
-He is super pumped that spring is here, so he can run and jump and play outside as much as possible!!
- And as always, he's our little entertainer!

Family Vacation 2009--7 days in the Florida Sun

Family Vacation to Singer Island in Palm Beach Shores (near West Palm Beach), Florida. A wonderful vacation with the family of four! Plus a chance to see Grammy & the Patterson family. We really had a chance to connect as a family and make lots of memories!! There is nothing like family fun time!!

Day 6- Our last full day here....spent the day by the pool & ocean...Marci was here in the morning to spend some more time with us playing!!

Day 5- Along with our usual pool visit, we went to Sailfish Marina which is walking distance where you can feed the fish, see the fishing boats come in and listen to music.

Day 4- lunch at Cheeburger Cheeburger at City Place where the kids meal came in a car! You can see how excited Zach was when it arrived!! We met another couple with a 2 year old, Anderson, on our first day here. Zach & him have really been enjoying having a vacation playmate!! We met them tonight for a evening playdate at the hotel playground. Day 3 -another day at the pool and collecting shells at the beach. we also walked to the port at the end of the block to see the boats up close

Day 2- we spent the morning in the pool, then let Grammy take us to her favorite pizza restaurant. We brought her along for the first 3 days of our trip to celebrate her 60th birthday!Day one - Happy Mother's Day!We were right on the ocean! From our room, we see the beautiful ocean and many boats.

The Patterson's came down from Orlando to play with us!! It was so fun to see them!! Zach waits for the flight. He has been on 7 different roundtrips but this was the first time he got his own seat. He was so excited to carry his own bag of toys on the flight!

The best of friends

Everyday it becomes more apparent that these two are really enjoying each other!

In no time they will be able to really play together and the friendship continues!!

As parents, that is our biggest wish for them...that they grow-up to be the best of buddies!!
