Our first vegetables from the garden were ready for picking...Zach was there to help!!

The Patterson Family comes to see us

Playing in the yard, backyard and all around town...what a family fun filled weekend with the Patterson's! Sherilyn loves to put on a show! She lead Zach in a parade through the backyard. You can see how much Zach got into it!!

We grilled out last night with the whole crew and had the best time! It was so nice to let the kids eat outside and run around together while the adults got to hang out too.

We had lunch at Davanni's where the longest game of "where's Zach & Sherilyn" took place. Saturday morning, we headed to this great park in town since it is unseasonably cold...so no pool today. The kids had a great time! Sherilyn was super helpful in showing Zach the tricks of the trade. She also wanted to make sure Molly got a chance to "play" too!

Friday night, we went to the Mall of America to ride some rides.

Sherilyn was too tall for an adult to ride with her. She is so big...already 6!!

Bath time laughs

Zach & Molly are really starting to interact! They like to copy each other. In the car, one will laugh, then the other...which creates more laughing...and so on. Here is a video of the giggle fest in the tub.

Grandpa & Grandma Hawk are here!!

Zach's new favorite activity in the pool is jumping up and crashing down! We took Grandpa & Grandma to the Lifetime pool today out by Mommy's old house.
Discovering how cool play-do is...his expressions are priceless.

Dinner at Tin Fish on Lake Calhoun--Friday night

Zach was so excited to see Grandpa...he got a big grin and ran into his arms! I have never seen him do this...he usually has to warm up a little. We are so excited they are here.

We love long weekends! So much time to hang out with friends and as a family...even better when we get to celebrate a birthday! Happy Birthday America! What a great holiday!! A personal favorite of Mommy's!
