Edina baseball is during the day twice a week during June and July with the exception of one night game.  This was a treat as it was the only game we were able to watch and it was at the big baseball diamond where the high schoolers play.  Zach continues to be the super star athlete!

We officially have a first grader!  Zach learned so much this year:  play dodgeball (first day), how to read, how to tie shoes, the parts of a sentence and can write a story, addition/subtraction, how to start a friendship and his confidence has grown 100%.  It has been a really fun journey and we couldn't be more proud of him!  Mrs. Oberle will be missed!!

Zach started the season with a hat trick...3 goals!  Second game...happened again.  He was lucky enough to get Grammy to come to his game too.

We had a great time with our cousins!  Julee and the girls came up from Kansas for a quick trip...but we maximized the time with lots of fun.  Mall of America amusement park and American Girl store were a lot of fun.  The kids really had the best time at home just playing and putting on shows for us.  So much fun!

We had the best time enjoying beautiful weather and conveniently located near many great friends. It was the best week...great bonding as a family and great to have 8 days of fun in the sun!
It was over Easter but the Easter bunny found us and we were still able to do an egg hunt:)

Our friends, the Schulman's, were also in Palm Springs.  It was fun to see several Minnesota friends while on spring break.

Family Fun Day for Zach's birthday

It has been sort of our tradition to do a big family outing for each birthday over a big gift...make a memory that will last. This year for Zach's birthday, we booked a night at the Depot hotel downtown. The ice rank was closed for the season but we made up for it in the fun at the waterpark inside the hotel. Being St. Patty's weekend, we also got to watch the parade after dinner downtown. So fun to have a day/night with just us four...the fun continued in the morning after breakfast...more fun in the waterpark! We love you Zach!! So happy you loved your surprise!!
