Love for the Pool

We love the pool!! It has been the best July that I can remember and we have taken full advantage of it. Went to the pool 3 times this week. Zach has mastered the kids slides and has moved on the the big kid slides (with a parent). He loves it and literally would go all day if we would allow...after 5 times have to give it a rest. When not on the slides, Zach is so happy playing in the water. He has never been great at independent play...but in the pool he can be happy playing forever. At school, they play in the kiddie pool a lot and Shelly always says he is part fish. I used to tell my parents I needed to go to the pool because my gills were dry...maybe love for the pool and summer time is genetic:) **should add in a story that happened on the way to the pool. We are sitting at a stop light on the way to the pool.
Zach: Mommy, why are you stopping.
Koren: the light is red so we are waiting
Zach (after looking around): don't worry Mom, I don't see a police man, you can just go
REALLY! Who is teaching him this...I laughed and said we have to follow the rules even if no one is watching. But man, that was funny to me.

Sorry for so few pictures...2 of the 3 pool outings I was by myself with the kids...so not much time with the camera in hand.
